Being conscientious of where and how food is sourced, along with health benefits… is prioritized, as well as supporting our local farmers. We believe the key to optimum health is what we put in our bodies. Food is our medicine.
Food grown without the use of synthetic chemical inputs, pesticides, fungicides and herbicides… supports a thriving & healthy eco-system.
We grow a wide variety of our own vegetables & grass-fed meats, and also support local meat, egg, milk, cheese, fruit and vegetable farmers by stocking their items in our grocery store, and using them in our café.
We source organic foods like lemons, avocados, coffee, chocolate, and other types of common grocery items because they are popular with our customers.

Beef, Lamb & Pork are an integral part of our farming system.
We raise small herds of grass-fed Belted Galloway Beef and Katahdin Meat Lamb, as well as Heritage Breed Pork in our forest…
All raised without any vaccinations, hormones, de-wormers, or antibiotics.
We regularly rotate our beef & lamb on pastures and into spent garden beds and cover crops.
We round out our animals’ diets with tons of our own organic vegetable scraps, such as carrot and beet tops, bruised squash, wilted greens & café kitchen scraps, which adds to the nutrient profile of their diets and makes our meats the most delicious around.
Our animals, in turn, fertilize our pastures and fields, and add beauty to the living tapestry of Providence Farm.
