1. Yes, we will have 2 farm tours Saturday, June 20th, at 10 & 1... Farm animals, Beaver Dam, plants... all-round last day of spring sweetness everywhere. Wear appropriate shoes. 2. Whoop, whoop, our organic Strawberries are heeere!!! These sweet jewels are just getting started... We’re sending a limited amount to Saturday’s Boyne and Traverse farm markets, 8-12. And of course, we’ll have some here, starting now and (fingers crossed) for three weeks! Very easy to freeze for later. Simple rinse, dry, pop the tops and put in gallon freezer bags. Hopefully, we’ll have so many in the next three weeks, anyone who wants a flat will get one! We’re open M-Sat, 8-6. There’s nothing like fresh strawberries with no chemicals sprayed on them!!! They taste exactly like they’re supposed to. Oh glory, we also have gorgeous Broccoli, curly Garlic Scapes, Snow-white Hakurei Japanese Turnips, are all getting harvested now... as well as arugula, lettuce, kale, mesclun, spinach, chard,) rutabaga, carrots, radishes, and more available NOW. (I added photos of what I made for dinner last night which was basically Swiss chard turnips greens with grilled chicken and Daybreak Dream Farm’s mushrooms, sautéed w/ garlic, steak pesto, and teriyaki. Hi Friend! Goood news... here is the first calf of 2026! "June" is a big healthy steer, born to a cow named "Julia". I'm just a wee bit tired and so here it is in a pea-pod: 1. We are bringing all the greens (arugula, lettuce, kale, mesclun, spinach), garlic scapes, potatoes, rutabaga, carrots, radishes, and possibly asparagus... to both TC and Boyne tomorrow. 8-12 2. We need more fiber. We all do! In fact we need upwards of 22-45 grams a day according to experts. 😃 Hi there! We are having our Famous Fish Tacos today & two farm tours to see the “fuzzy faces” at 10:00 AM & 1:00 PM. 😃 Whitefish we use is local-caught, sustainably sourced, Michigan fish. Our chef works her magic... and it’s hands down, the best authentic Mexican fish taco we’ve ever had! 😃 The entire menu, (including Breakfast Burritos!) is in the pics. 😃 Tours to see the cows, sheep and piggies, and 40 foot wide beaver dam at 10:00 AM & 1:00 PM. The walk is “farmy” & “woodsy” and on uneven terrain, so wear shoes that fit your adventure! 😃 It’s peak ASPARAGUS SEASON. Both purple and green asparagus are a win-win: they both taste excellent: purple is just slightly sweeter. 😃 Why does Providence’s asparagus taste so good? Our certified organic asparagus has ZERO herbicides & pesticides, chemical fertilizer residue. The same with our strawberries and everything else!
