  • Hi Friend!  Goood news... here is the first calf of 2026! "June" is a big healthy steer, born to a cow named "Julia".

I'm just a wee bit tired and so here it is in a pea-pod:

1. We are bringing all the greens (arugula, lettuce, kale, mesclun, spinach), garlic scapes, potatoes, rutabaga, carrots, radishes, and possibly asparagus... to both TC and Boyne tomorrow. 8-12

2. We need more fiber. We all do! In fact we need upwards of 22-45 grams a day according to experts. Join our CSA Farm Box subscription and get it on the regular. ;) (https://csa.farmigo.com/join/providencefarm/2026growingseason)

Fiber is a SUPER FOOD. It's healthy, tasty and oh so good for you!  It's pretty the way we grow it, and comes in all shapes and sizes. Bonus, I'll make sure to add fabulous recipes to each and every farm box to entice you to get all the fiber you need. Promise.

3. One Farm Tour tomorrow at 1:30. We shall see pretty cattle (3 calves were just born!), sheep, piggies (if they come out of the wood), and BONUS, the biggest, coolest beaver dam I ever did see... At least 40 feet wide and 5 feet tall!

4. You're invited to our June 30th Farm to Table Experience w/ Chef Loghan Call.

Of course, we're featuring our organic vegetables, grass-fed beef and the honey that's produced on our farm...

  • 😃 Hi there!  We are having our Famous Fish Tacos today & two farm tours to see the “fuzzy faces” at 10:00 AM & 1:00 PM. 

😃 Whitefish we use is local-caught, sustainably sourced, Michigan fish. Our chef works her magic... and it’s hands down, the best authentic Mexican fish taco we’ve ever had! 

😃 The entire menu, (including Breakfast Burritos!) is in the pics. 
😃 Tours to see the cows, sheep and piggies, and 40 foot wide beaver dam at 10:00 AM & 1:00 PM. 

The walk is “farmy” & “woodsy” and on uneven terrain, so wear shoes that fit your adventure!

😃 It’s peak ASPARAGUS SEASON. Both purple and green asparagus are a win-win: they both taste excellent: purple is just slightly sweeter. 

😃 Why does Providence’s asparagus taste so good? Our certified organic asparagus has ZERO herbicides & pesticides, chemical fertilizer residue.  The same with our strawberries and everything else! Hi Friend!  Goood news... here is the first calf of 2026! "June" is a big healthy steer, born to a cow named "Julia".

I'm just a wee bit tired and so here it is in a pea-pod:

1. We are bringing all the greens (arugula, lettuce, kale, mesclun, spinach), garlic scapes, potatoes, rutabaga, carrots, radishes, and possibly asparagus... to both TC and Boyne tomorrow. 8-12

2. We need more fiber. We all do! In fact we need upwards of 22-45 grams a day according to experts. Join our CSA Farm Box subscription and get it on the regular. ;) (https://csa.farmigo.com/join/providencefarm/2026growingseason)

Fiber is a SUPER FOOD. It's healthy, tasty and oh so good for you!  It's pretty the way we grow it, and comes in all shapes and sizes. Bonus, I'll make sure to add fabulous recipes to each and every farm box to entice you to get all the fiber you need. Promise.

3. One Farm Tour tomorrow at 1:30. We shall see pretty cattle (3 calves were just born!), sheep, piggies (if they come out of the wood), and BONUS, the biggest, coolest beaver dam I ever did see... At least 40 feet wide and 5 feet tall!

4. You're invited to our June 30th Farm to Table Experience w/ Chef Loghan Call.

Of course, we're featuring our organic vegetables, grass-fed beef and the honey that's produced on our farm... 
Tickets are already half sold out, and I've just told a few people, so hit this link and sign yourself up if you really want to go.

Today, Saturday, June 6th. Farm Tours! The little piggies are so sweet! Everyday we’re on the look out for baby calves, & if you’re up for it, we’ll go check out the 40 foot wide, 5 foot tall beaver dam! Wear “farmy” shoes or boots! Today we have a full-on Authentic Mexican pop-up, French pastries and much more. (Menu in stories) from 9-5:30. 😃 Whitefish we use is local-caught, sustainably sourced, Michigan fish. Our chef works her magic... and it’s hands down, the best authentic Mexican fish taco we’ve ever had! 

😃 The entire menu, (including Breakfast Burritos!) is in the pics. 
😃 Tours to see the cows, sheep and piggies, and 40 foot wide beaver dam at 10:00 AM & 1:00 PM. 

The walk is “farmy” & “woodsy” and on uneven terrain, so wear shoes that fit your adventure!

😃 It’s peak ASPARAGUS SEASON. Both purple and green asparagus are a win-win: they both taste excellent: purple is just slightly sweeter.
