First Introductions!

Hi there, farm friends! For our very first Blog ever, we thought introductions would be appropriate.

🌱 We are Ryan and Andrea Romeyn, first generation farmers. This is our 15-YEAR ANNIVERSARY of farming here on the north end of beautiful Torch Lake!

🌱 We moved here in 2008 w/ our four children, ages 1 – 9, and started growing vegetables on 4 acres. We now grow ~ 30 acres certified organic produce, and raise about 40 “grass-fed & finished” Belted Galloway beef, 80 Katahdin Meat lamb, plus 35 heritage pork.

🌱 We built an ON-FARM Market and Café in 2018. Why? Because we were eating like kings, and wanted to share what we have with our community in a new way. (We also have about 350 “Farm-Box CSA Members” and deliver weekly to 10 northern Michigan towns up here.)

🌱 The “grocery” part of our store offers our hyper-fresh certified organic vegetables & grass-fed meats, PLUS other local farmer’s items like milk, cheese, eggs, sweet potatoes, ice cream, sauerkraut and many other staples.

🌱The “Café” part is comprised of THE. BEST. ESPRESSO drinks from our full organic coffee bar, + Tea Lattes and delicious smoothies. AND, of course…

🌱”Farm-to-Table” breakfast, lunch and dinner…to go, or “dine-in”. Where else can you dine at a restaurant, and literally see the place where your food comes from?

🌱😍 Saturdays are reserved for our VERY popular authentic Mexican pop-ups!

Curious? We’re open 9-5:30, Monday – Saturday.

Directions? We’re on M-88, one mile east of US 31 at Eastport. Google “Providence Organic Farm Market & Café” for directions!

More deets to follow, my friends…
