About Us

We strive to bring joy and health to our community by creating a beautiful farm, market, “farm-to-table” café & natural foods store. It’s quite a unique experience to be able to see the actual farm that grows the food you’re enjoying!

We also grow for area farmers markets, for wholesale, AND for people who buy subscriptions to our weekly or bi-weekly “CSA Farm Boxes ‘O Goodness”… That’s where people pre-order fresh veggie boxes for pick-up on a regular basis year-round. Customers may choose the schedule and length of time that works best for them.

We have convenient pick-up points in Traverse City (5), Elk Rapids, Bellaire, East Jordan, Charlevoix, Beaver Island, Boyne City (2), Gaylord, Petoskey, and here at Providence Organic Farm in Central Lake (2).

Farmer Ryan and I carry grab-n-go super soups, salads, burritos, sandwiches, smoothies, desserts… along with all kinds of veggies like greens, rainbow and orange carrots, organic blueberries, cabbage, potatoes, roots & herbal teas from Sierra at Bear Earth Herbals, (Chaga Chai, Sunshine Daydream & Just Breath), to support your immune system, grass-fed beef & lamb, pastured pork, farm fresh eggs, and much more.

We all need to eat healthy food. It’s not always that easy to find it!

The best local farm market in the world! Andrea and her family are so lovely and genuinely warm, friendly, & all around fantastic people. The produce is so gorgeous that it looks like it already went through an Instagram filter 😉 Wonderful selection of local & organic goods, groceries, grab n go breakfast/ lunch, and a killer coffee & tea bar that kicks Starbucks to the curb.

Lots of fun for all. Fresh baked goods, organic veggies, soups and more. Quick tour of the fields with Andrea was very interesting/enlightening. Really cool and unique stock animals. Great story of love, wanting and wishing, with plenty of hard work. I highly recommend.

We found this little gem by accident. The whole family works there and all of them ate super friendly.. The strawberries are organic and all the vegetables in their store are organic, w/ most local. We ate some tacos which were fabulous. The coffee drinks and kombucha were also delicious- everything tasted great. I would highly recommend this grocery store/bistro/u-pick organic strawberry orchard. It reminded me of the small bistro's and restaurants on the side of the street in Tuscany, Italy. I'll be back!

A hidden gem in Central Lake with the best coffee, lattes and iced mochas within a 40 mile radius, at least! Wonderful selections of organic products and farm fresh produce, including heirloom varieties like purple bell peppers and lemon cucumbers. Frozen meats are also available, as well a vegan "meats" and cheeses. Super friendly staff. We will miss our daily stops here for coffee and fresh produce!! Definitely make it a priority to visit if you're in town!
