We go through a lot of extra steps to keep our organic certification each year. Why? Because we’re raising two young boys, and we care about what they eat.
SSSHHHH….Don’t tell anyone, but here’s the secret to our great-tasting vegetables… we focus on building our soil. We take our role as “steward of the land” VERY seriously. When you join our farm, you’ll know exactly where your food comes from and that it’s grown with the highest standards.
No shortcuts.
It’s hard to get 4-6 servings of antioxidant-rich veggies in a day. We can help! Ryan I both craft quick, simple & amazing dishes, eating most of our own food at every meal. We will be sharing storage tips & our own proven recipes and CSA hacks to help you get the most out of your box.
CSA shares are paid in full BEFORE the season begins as a way to help the farmer with his upfront capital needs in the early part of the year. We ask you to pay 50% of your total balance as a deposit within 2 weeks of sign-up. The balance is due by June 1, 2023. We also ask that CSA shares are paid for via check or bank check to help us avoid hefty fees. But don’t worry! You can use your credit card during the main season when you shop week to week in our online store.
YES. If you’re going to do this a lot, that’s hard for our system to handle. But if it only happens every now and then, we can accommodate it. You just need to let us know 2 days before.
No, sorry. Harvesting and packing your box translates to an investment on our part. We pay our crew to harvest and pack them, PLUS there’s the cost of the vegetables themselves. So we can’t replace the box a second time.
If you are able to reach us via text prior to the site closing, we can hold your products and take them back to our farm, where we will hold them for 48 hours or bring them to the next pickup site.
If you fail to contact us before we close the site, your order will be donated.
